I knew Noah as a child and as a batmitzvah boy and as a kid enjoying the delights of Hawaii. I wish I'd known him better as he grew into a man and my heart is sad that I didn't get the chance. My prayers go to his parents who have gone through hell and must go on with their lives without their children and for Noah for all the pain he has endured.

I thought your name was Noah Macaroni. I thought it was the coolest
name ever because I LOVE macaroni. Still do! And your hair even did
that curl thing. I didn't learn your real name until years later, but
you've always lived up to my "cool" expectations. We met at A.P.
Giannini and sat in the back. It was the first time I was considered
part of a "rowdy" group. And boy did you turn the quiet girl into a
fiesty one. Mostly because Mike would bug me and I'd scratch or pinch
him to leave me alone. You liked to egg him on and I wish I had eggs
to throw at you two. We lost touch after 8th grade and only saw you in
passing in High School. I had heard you dropped out and got your GED.
Too cool for school. Or too bored of it maybe.
I'm so glad I gave into the world of Facebook. Without it, we wouldn't
have met up a few years ago. Without it, I wouldn't have been able to
meet you again. Not in this lifetime anyway. I hope you go in peace.
But I hope you don't go too much quicker. And I'm definitely glad you
haven't gone too suddenly.

More to come,

Dearest Noah,
I have only met you once at Steve and Flo's a couple of years ago, but I have followed your progress and spent time in the early morning doing Yoga and praying for you.  Your dad was younger than you when we met.  He would come out to my apartment and talk and spend the night sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag.  As I read your blog I hear his voice in your voice and it is beautiful. You came from a wonderful family and your intimacy with those around you now is so filled with love that it breaks my heart.  There is such sorrow and fear heading into the unknown, but you are a light who will seek the light. We, as your human kin, are with you in our minds in our hearts and in our tears.  You have been courageous throughout your struggle ( I hear the stories),  and your courage, your beautiful mind and spirit has marked us and will not be forgotten.

Hello
I want to express my gratitude to Noah for helping us with facilities at CSZ when we needed an extra hand. He was very nice to have around and a great help. Of course, Bob was already helping the shul as our wonderful maintenance volunteer.
We so much appreciate the Nacamullis!
We send our love from the CSZ office.
